MBA Colleges
Studies, hard work, smart work, competition, examination results and final admission in a college – all these give a chill in the spine. Admission in a college of choice is not only a matter of luck but a matter of how hard has one worked to come in the top cut off list. Colleges have mushroomed everywhere starting from the ones coming within the purview of a state university and ending with some private ones as well which are affiliated to a university but might not be affiliated with the state university.
Graduation today is not the end of the study cycle of a student. With the immense influx of jobs, a trend in higher education is being seen. But this could be in any field for example performing arts, designing or a Masters in Business Administration. Since an MBA is not a prerequisite for a job, one can either get a degree through a 2-year program or a diploma through a 2-year or even a 1-year program. The 1-year program diploma is primarily chosen by working professionals who like to attach an additional educational qualification to their credit.
There are enough competent mba colleges in India that offer MBA programs however, since there is a strong attraction of an international degree, students also opt for MBA colleges abroad. These colleges are definitely much more expensive than the Indian MBA colleges but they offer financial support in the form of scholarships to students who have come from other countries. The scholarship amount however is based on the marks that the students secure in their first semester. For those who are unable to get scholarships there are flexi part time work options so a lot of students are able to fund a part of their education expenses by working part time after college.
These MBA colleges work on a 6-month semester system. The first year subjects are common for all students and then based on their interest levels a variety of specialization options can be chosen from Finance, Marketing, etc. Some colleges also have a system of choosing two major subjects instead of one. This is a good system for those who till the end of their first year are not very sure of their career options.
For those who do not get admission in an MBA college of their choice, do not worry at all. There are so many other courses to opt for today. One can pursue a course either in Interior Designing or Fashion Designing or Aero modeling to name a few of them.
