Summer Songs
Summer is one of the four temperate seasons, marked by the time of the year with the longest days, and lies between spring and autumn. The seasons are usually considered to start on different dates in different cultures. When it is summer in the southern hemisphere it is winter in the northern hemisphere, and vice versa.
The southeastern and southern parts of Asia have very wet summers where it spans from March to June and arrival of the monsoons marks the end of summer. In a majority of countries, the summer vacations commence from the middle of May and in Australia it begins prior to Christmas. In most countries children are out of school during this time of the year for summer holidays, although dates vary.
In the summertime, it is usually warm and sunny and fun to be outside. You can go swimming, to the beach, sun bathe, go boating, and all of those fun summer activities everyone looks forward to and there are many summer songs that add a soothing effect to the environment. Summer is, unfortunately, more about what we want it to be than what it actually is. That’s why some of the best summer songs are sung with tenderness and marked by sadness and this is music that admits the painful truth about summer.
Different regions of different countries have different genres of summer songs to suit their corresponding weather conditions as well as the lifestyle of people living in the specific region. The number of summer songs is increasing with more and more numbers of people taking interest in hearing music and songs. Some of the summer songs are very touchy and calming to heart, which delivers a cooling effect to the people hearing the song and reduces the burden of prickling heat during the hot summer season.
